Lobia Tikki Recipe
Lobia, also known as black-eyed peas or cowpeas, is a nutrient-rich legume. Rich in protein and dietary fiber, it helps boost gut health, digestion, and keeps you full for longer. Ingredients required
1 cup soaked lobia, 1 onion, 2 green chilies, 1 inch ginger, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 2 tbsp besan, 2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, salt to taste, oil for frying

Step 1
Soak lobia overnight & pressure cook with 1.5 cups of water with some salt for 3 whistles.

Let them mash lightly and in the meantime chop the veggies.

Add onion, green chili, ginger, coriander leaves, besan, and all spices.

Mix well into a dough-like consistency and take small portions and shape into flat round tikkis.

Heat a pan with little oil and place the tikkis and shallow fry the tikkis on medium flame.

Cook them until golden and crisp on both sides.

Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup. Enjoy!
